Who will you be working with?
As part of our Operations Excellence (OPEX) team, you will play a crucial role in driving standardization across Wabtec in key areas such as Industry 4.0, Lean, Global Materials, SIOP, and Supplier Development. In your role within the OPEX Global Materials Digitization team, you will collaborate closely with our OPEX Integration Leaders, Pillar Leaders, and Supply Chain teams at Wabtec sites worldwide to Develop and Integrate Apps that are Fundamental to the Global Materials OPEX Journey.


How will you make a difference? 
As a member of the OPEX Digitization Team, you will be responsible for the overall architecture, strategy and operation of the team’s Cloud and Infrastructure assets, as well as being the contact point to escalate and resolve any issue with the help of Wabtec IT teams. This professional will be supporting internally the OPEX Digitization team and the Wabtec Global end users that utilize the team’s Software and Analytics assets.

What do we want to know about you? 
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering related degree
• Minimum of 10 years of IT experience in software design and development
• Minimum of 8 years of IT experience in data design and management to be consumed by applications and analytics 
• Able to fluently speak and write in English (Score 600 or higher TOEFL or equivalent)
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills 
• Ability to work cross functionally and handle multiple projects / tasks
• Minimum 5 years of business experience on:
• Infrastructure on premise migrations to AWS Cloud
• AWS Cloud Resources Management & Update using Scalr or AWS Console
• AWS Cloud Resources Automation with Terraform
• GitLab CI/CD Pipelines Implementation and Management

What will your typical day look like? 
•    Evaluate emerging Cloud and CI/CD technologies to define and document a future vision roadmap for optimal application of technology in Digitization Team to meet business needs
•    Design and improve DEV & PROD cloud infrastructure environments with a focus on AWS ensuring 24×7 service level
•    Provide development and administration support for cloud environments and CI/CD within Digitization Team developments
•    Implement and oversee all aspects of the cloud environment and CI/CD including provisioning, scale, monitoring, and security to support migration of servers from legacy systems to new solutions
•    Monitor the cloud infrastructure systems performance by running regular tests, troubleshooting, and preparing accurate reports for OPEX Leadership
•    Approve final infrastructure assets in the Digitization Team before launch, ensuring software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, documentation, etc.
•    Act as Official Contact Point with the Wabtec Cloud, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture and Software Asset Management Teams to ensure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes and platforms are aligned with Wabtec IT Corporate security and operational standards
•    Present projects and developments Status to required Stakeholders
•    Other duties as assigned
