Cloud Devops Architect:

12+ years in commercial software engineering

• 5+ years in the Lead DevOps Engineer, DevOps Architect, Cloud Architect, or similar role

• Highly analytical mindset, with an ability to see both the big picture and the details

• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with a variety of tools and technologies (at least one in each category):

o Programming languages (Python, Go, Java, NodeJS, .Net, or similar)

o Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); professional level certification preferred

o Containerization and orchestration (containerd, Docker, Kubernetes)

o CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI, CircleCI, Bamboo, TeamCity)

o IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, etc.)

o Configuration management platforms (Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible)

o Security (OAuth2, JWT, SAST, DAST, OWASP)

o Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, New Relic, AppDynamics)

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and mentoring abilities

• Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design, knowledge of the design principles and patterns (OPP, SOLID, DRY, LoD, etc.)

• Experience in architectural leadership for high-load, horizontally scalable, distributed applications

• Experience working in Agile development teams (Scrum; Kanban method)

• Bachelor’s degree / master's in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field

• Strong communication and presentation skills 

• Self-driven and passionate, eager and rapid learner
