You Are:

We are seeking an experienced  Cloud Delivery Specialist to join our Cloud Onboarding team. In this role, you will leverage your deep knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud environments to guide and coach teams through their transition to cloud delivery models. You will provide mentorship to project teams and delivery leads, resolve complex challenges, and influence best practices across the organization. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, ensure effective stakeholder engagement, and help build cloud capability across the organization.

 

The opportunity:

·       Hybrid-In office/remote

·       Cloud Onboarding Guidance: Coach multiple project teams and delivery leads on how to transition to and operate within cloud environments (Azure/Google). Provide expertise on cloud delivery best practices and help resolve complex challenges throughout the process.

·       Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes and promote the adoption of best practices in cloud delivery.

·       Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business and technology stakeholders, ensuring alignment with key delivery activities and architectural requirements.

·       Mentoring and Coaching: Use your advanced mentoring and coaching skills to help teams grow their capabilities and foster an agile mindset.

·       Facilitate Problem-Solving: Anticipate delivery challenges and help teams find solutions through process, product, or service adjustments.

·       Tools Utilization: Leverage tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage tasks, track project progress, and communicate effectively across teams.

·       Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in your approach to engaging stakeholders and adapting strategies to meet the needs of various teams.

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Educational Background: Undergraduate or post-graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business).

·       Experience: 5-7 years of experience as a Cloud Delivery Specialist, particularly in large-scale cloud deployments (Azure/Google), ideally within regulated industries.

·       Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of Azure and Google Cloud environments, as well as related security and compliance processes.

·       Agile Methodologies: Proven experience in Agile frameworks and successfully coaching teams to adopt and scale Agile practices, particularly in cloud delivery environments.

·       Leadership Skills: Strong skills in mentoring, coaching, listening, providing feedback, and managing team performance.

·       Tools Proficiency: Proficient in using Jira and Confluence for project management, documentation, and team collaboration.

·       Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Ontario

Compensation Range: $108,000-$132,000

 

 

 

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
