Job Description

Responsibilities:

Implement IaC with Terraform (modules, variables, environments); follow peer‑review and testing standards. 

Build/maintain CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins): build, unit tests, security scans, deploy to dev→prod. 

Operate core AWS services (at least two of: EKS/Kubernetes, Lambda, API Gateway/App Runner, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudFront/WAF, IAM/KMS). 

Implement observability with Logz.io or Splunk for centralized logs, plus CloudWatch metrics/alerts and dashboards. 

Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) that feed the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW); implement schema versioning, lineage, and data‑quality checks. 

Operate and optimize database workloads (e.g., RDS/Aurora): migrations, backups, retention, audit trails. 

Partner with Legal/Compliance to meet China data residency/regulatory expectations (e.g., in‑region logging/monitoring, retention policies); document operational runbooks. 

Contribute to change control in regulated environments (CSV/GxP/21 CFR Part 11). 

Partner with product/QA/analysts to ship small, testable increments; participate in incident reviews (shadow → primary over time). 

Skills and Qualifications:

1–3 years in Cloud/DevOps/SRE or platform engineering with hands‑on coding experience. 

Proficiency with Python or TypeScript, Git, Docker, and a CI system. 

Working knowledge of AWS fundamentals: networking basics (VPC, subnets, SGs), IAM, and at least one compute option. 

Terraform basics: write/read modules; manage state; run plan/apply safely via pipelines. 

SQL proficiency and hands‑on ETL/ELT experience with familiarity in EDW concepts. 

Security hygiene: secrets management, least privilege, dependency scanning; basic threat awareness. 

Communication: clear PRs, good documentation, and willingness to learn GxP/CSV quickly.
