Galileo is a strategic Roche Informatics program aiming to enable high-value AI (initial focus: Generative AI - GenAI) use cases at Roche through fit-for-purpose platforms and services, establishing a foundation for a Center of Excellence in AI. Galileo teams are building innovative GenAI applications, GenAI Platforms, and providing consultancy to stakeholders.

The opportunity: 

Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage cloud environments (especially AWS via e.g. Roche Cloud Platform, utilizing GenAI service endpoints from Galileo Platform Azure) tailored for LLM-based applications, ensuring scalability, cost-efficiency, and security

DevOps Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment of GenAI applications, focusing on automation, testing, and monitoring best practices

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation or CDK to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources, ensuring repeatable and version-controlled deployments

Containerization and Orchestration: Set up and manage containerized environments for LLM-related services, optimizing for performance, security, and scalability

Performance Optimization: Optimize cloud resources for LLM inference, ensuring low latency and high availability while managing compute costs (GPU/TPU optimization)

Who you are:

You have 3+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering and DevOps, with a focus on productization, deployment, and management of applications in the AWS cloud environment.

You have advanced knowledge of cloud services and DevOps tools; experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions; container orchestration (Kubernetes) as a plus.

You show a deep understanding of AWS, including services like EC2, S3, Lambda; experience with LLM-related services like Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, AWS data stores. 

You have strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges, integrate new technologies, and improve existing processes.


 

What you get:

Salary range 15 000 - 22 000 PLN gross based on the employment contract (Umowa o pracę),
