Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Senior Cloud Efficiency & Optimization Integration Engineer to join their team! This role involves optimizing the integration services of a complex AWS-based Marketplace system comprising over 35 integrated applications and services. The ideal candidate will analyze, design, and implement a cloud architecture framework aligned with organizational goals, ensuring seamless integration of 70+ APIs and services. The position includes responsibilities in planning, system integration, collaboration with stakeholders, and driving continuous improvements. Candidates will play a critical role in enhancing efficiency, security, and scalability across cloud environments while adhering to open systems architecture and compliance standards.
Integration Strategy and Planning
Develop integration strategies aligned with cloud infrastructure goalsAnalyze and design architectures for optimized integrationCollaborate on information requirements for smooth system transitions
System Integration and Optimization
Lead integration efforts for new services, applications, and APIs within AWSTroubleshoot workflows and recommend optimizationsImplement cloud automation using AWS Lambda, CloudFormation, and similar toolsMonitor performance metrics to optimize systems
Collaboration with Stakeholders
Work with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless system integrationFacilitate communication across project stakeholdersAlign integration efforts with project timelines and objectives
Security, Compliance, and Standards
Conduct security assessments and ensure adherence to compliance standardsAlign integration solutions with security best practicesMaintain governance in security protocols
Continuous Improvement and Change Management
Conduct reviews of cloud architecture for future enhancementsIdentify emerging technologies to improve system scalability
Documentation and Reporting
Document integration processes and architectural designsProvide reports on optimization efforts and vendor contributions
Leadership and Training
Offer technical leadership during architectural discussionsTrain team members on integration and cloud strategies
Strategic Planning and Resource Management
Plan for future cloud capabilities and expansionsAssist in budget planning for cloud initiativesRequirements
