Purpose and Scope:   

The Hybrid Cloud Engineer is a senior-most engineer responsible for leading infrastructure initiatives and serving as a Value Team Captain. This role guides delivery team direction, resolves complex engineering issues, and ensures technical alignment across hybrid infrastructure solutions. The role works with minimal supervision and plays a leadership role within Agile Value Teams.

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:  

Acts as Value Team Captain, coordinating delivery efforts across engineers, product owners, and architects. Leads the design and implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects spanning AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. Establishes engineering standards and ensures compliance with cloud governance frameworks. Champions DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, and policy enforcement. Serves as a technical escalation point for critical incidents and delivery blockers. Leads knowledge-sharing sessions and contributes to internal enablement strategies. Partners with architects to shape technical roadmaps and long-term platform strategy.
