Key Responsibilities:

Support secure system development: Work closely to identify, assess, develop, test, deploy, and maintain technical systems using COTS, GOTS, and Open-Source resourcesAssess cybersecurity needs: Collect and evaluate the online network and cybersecurity requirementsDeploy tailored solutions: Develop and implement customized online network and cybersecurity solutionsEnsure compliance: Partner to complete approval requirements and maintain compliance throughout the technical lifecycleEngage in cybersecurity discussions: Participate in working groups focused on cybersecurity issues, collaborating with IT security professionals and leadershipTrain Sponsor personnel: Document and train team members on the effective use of online network and cybersecurity solutionsMaintain system integrity: Ensure the stability, integrity, availability, and privacy of deployed cybersecurity solutions

Qualifications:

Required:

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with a PolygraphEducation: Bachelor’s degreeExperience: Minimum of 10 yearsSecure network design: Experience designing and supporting protected networks for secure virtual activities and communicationsInfrastructure integration: Proven ability to integrate secure network components including bare metal, cloud systems, ISPs, proxies, VPNs, and TORAuthentication solutions: Experience creating secure networks that meet commercial user validation and two-factor authentication requirementsSystem configuration: Proficiency in virtualization, VDI environments, Linux system and BIOS configurationServer deployment: Experience deploying application servers such as Wireguard, OpenVPN, and WordpressAPI integration: Demonstrated ability to establish and use API accessesDevice hardening: Experience securing COTS mobile and computer equipment against malware, adtech, tracking, and forensic threatsSoftware evaluation: Skilled in testing and evaluating software packagesTechnical documentation: Ability to prepare written and graphical materials for reviews, briefings, and user guidesClear communication: Capable of explaining complex technical topics to non-technical audiences

Accreditation processes: Familiarity with the IT accreditation proceduresDeployment collaboration: Experience working on network-enabled tool deploymentUser training: Experience training users on secure network system operations and maintenanceEncryption expertise: Knowledge of commercial encryption and secure messaging systemsNetwork monitoring: Experience or willingness to learn network management and monitoring tools
