Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI or Active TS with T5/SSBI within last two years.
Required Education:
BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or general STEM. Other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience.
Job Duties:
Provide cloud engineering expertise to design and deliver complete mission systems (infrastructure/platform/applications/process) solutions within the cloudProvide guidance and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competenciesEstablish applications, environment uptime, and utilization scaling parameters and metricsEstablish standard policy and compliance metrics by which cloud environment operations will be monitored, corrective responses issued, and reportedEstablish performance and cybersecurity monitoring framework, perform continuous monitoring, and report corrective actionsEstablish and apply Zero Trust Architectures build and sustainment standardsEstablish Cloud Network interface with Load balancers, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, Azure Active Directory (Entra), Microsoft Entra Domain ServicesMinimum Qualifications:
6 or more years of Information Technology infrastructure experience.Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure products and capabilitiesMicrosoft Certified: Azure AdministratorExperience developing IT and cloud infrastructureExperience in software engineering, design architecture, analyzing computer hardware and software solutionsProficient in use of Infrastructure as Code (BICEP) for build of cloud platforms on AzureExperienced with data encryption methodologies using PKIExperienced in network design principlesDesired Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect ExpertExperience with TerraformProficient in creating system diagrams using Visio or equivalent.Experience in system administration of Red Hat Linux 8+, Microsoft Windows operating systems.Experienced in containerization technology such as Docker and Kubernetes clustersExperience with creating and maintaining enterprise Certification Authority (CA) using Hashicorp Vault or equivalentStrong analytical skills and ability to solve problems creativelyBasic Compensation: $111,300 – 166,950
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
