Responsibility


Candidate will need to use their Systems, Cloud and Container Virtualization knowledge to perform multiple tasks on a large enterprise cloud. The ability to optimize and automated operations in the cloud will be used on a day to day basis. Cloud Performance, HA and Scalability will be the main objectives to maintain.

Candidate will need to use their Systems, Cloud and Container Virtualization knowledge to perform multiple tasks on a large enterprise cloud. The ability to optimize and automated operations in the cloud will be used on a day to day basis. Cloud Performance, HA and Scalability will be the main objectives to maintain.

Key Technical Skill


Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
Experience with automation/configuration management using either Ansible, Puppet, Chef or equivalent.
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
Strong experience with Container Technology (LXC, Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with OpenStack Platform
Specific working experience with OpenStack Magnum project
Strong experience with SQL (NoSQL experience is a plus)
A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby)
End to End Knowledge of best practices and IT operations centered around Robustness, Scalability and HA

Desired Skills


Enterprise IT management Exposure.
Experience with Main Stream OO Programing Language (Java, C++, C#, Delphi)
Proficiency on Bash and Shell scripting
Hardware Architecture
System Management Software knowledge
Storage Deployment to Scale
Network Architecture
- Software Defined Network Knowledge
- Public Cloud Vendor APIs (AWS, Azure, Google, SoftLayer)
