Position Summary Designs, implements, and manages cloud-based infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure. Possesses and utilizes deep expertise in Azure services, infrastructure as code, automation, and monitoring, ensuring that our cloud environment is secure, scalable, and cost-efficient. Major Responsibilities + Monitors system performance, availability, compliance, and security using Azure Monitor or other tools. + Designs and implements backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies to ensure business continuity. + Regularly reviews and refines cloud resources to align with best practices and security requirements. + Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and information technology (IT) administrators to support cloud initiatives. + Provides guidance on migrating on-premises systems to Azure. + Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for Azure-related inquiries and troubleshooting. + Maintains comprehensive documentation for architecture, processes, and procedures. Additional Responsibilities + Regularly audits and ensures adherence to governance policies set by the Azure Governance team (e.g., cost management, resource tagging). + Supports the team in defining and updating governance strategies. + Coordinates the activities with other IT teams as needed. + Proposes innovative solutions by approaching problems with curiosity and open mindedness, using existing information and vendor resources to their fullest potential. + Collaborates with stakeholders to design solutions that meet business requirements. + Supports Subaru’s values by living out the Subaru Love Promise and supporting a diverse and inclusive work environment. Skill Requirements (Must Have) + 4 to 6 Years experience with Azure Administration. + Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure environments. + Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform. + Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash. + Knowledge and experience in monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights. or Datadog. + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration. + Capable of working independently as a self-starter who performs initiatives that provide solutions for business requirements. + Ability to perform effective troubleshooting. + Ability to respond to complex technical challenges by coordinating resources to devise effective solutions, and to escalate on-going technical issues if needed. + Ability to initiate activities to maintain and update knowledge of emerging IT trends. Additional Skills Preferred (Nice to Have) + Certifications such as: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 6 to 8 years experience: WORK ENVIRONMENT + Hybrid Role: Remote work 2 days per week (After 90 Days Onboarding) + Required Travel: 20% Domestic Travel + Internal Work Environment: Office and remote facilities. Prolonged sitting at desk and computer. COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $102,700- $145,000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
