Cloud Engineer Location: Springfield, VA, US Job ID: ATR 17295 Job Description Title: Cloud Engineer Location: Springfield, VA Eligibility/Clearance: This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance Job Description: The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for working with highly functional development team automating service deployments; optimizing system performance; integrating with enterprise authentication services; establishing/improving system monitoring; maintaining established security protocols; provide customers technical support. The Cloud Engineer will be integrated with an agile environment participating with scrums and other meetings. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: •Maintain security requirements for operation of systems •Maintain and improve existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling, support new services, optimize for cost efficiencies/authentication/search, etc) •Produce detailed documentation •Maintain System inAWSenvironment using EC2, S3, Load Balancer, RDS, and IAM •Manage and Maintain AWS WorkSpaces •Automate and optimize service deployments •Delivering a full-stack web application to production; identifying and resolving operational issues in same •Actively participating in technical requirements-gathering process (i.e. meetings with customers) •Executing design and implementation of application features, independently / unassisted, with minimal oversight •Writing and reading unit tests; understanding code-quality analysis concepts •Writing and debugging Javascript, Typescript, or closely-related language •Developing applications backed by a relational database; understanding RDB design concepts Education/Experience: •Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience •5+ years IT experience -TS/SCI clearance preferred, Top Secret minimum •Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Required Skills: •Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services •Strong Troubleshooting skills at the Tier 1-3 level •Angular frontend framework;
