Description We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and managing scalable infrastructure, automating cloud operations, and ensuring security and compliance best practices. Key Responsibilities: + Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure. + Implement Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database. + Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps. + Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of cloud environments. + Ensure security and compliance best practices, including identity management, role-based access control (RBAC), and data encryption. + Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. + Collaborate with DevOps, security, and software development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications. + Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies and provide recommendations for cloud strategy improvements. Requirements Required Qualifications: + 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure. + Proficiency in Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, AKS, App Services, Functions, Storage, Networking). + Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or ARM templates. + Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. + Understanding of cloud security best practices and governance in Azure. + Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash. + Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights). + Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: + Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400) strongly preferred. + Experience with hybrid cloud environments and on-premises to Azure migrations. + Knowledge of database management in Azure, including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, or PostgreSQL.
