What you'll do

As Cloud Engineer Student you will work closely with experienced cloud professionals, contributing to the stability, reliability, and improvement of our cloud infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cloud engineering while developing technical and problem-solving skills.

Assist in configuring and maintaining and ensuring the stability and reliability of our cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud vendors. Deploy and deliver software solutions to the cloud. Perform routine maintenance activities to optimize cloud performance and cost. Develop automation scripts to streamline cloud operations using Python and Bash. Investigate and resolve cloud-related issues by identifying root causes using tools such as Grafana, Gardener logs, and cloud-provider dashboards. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud systems, processes, and solutions. Modify cloud configuration files based on specific requirements.

  

What you bring

Currently pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, industrial engineering, information systems, or similar with at least 3 semesters remaining to graduation A current student status in a recognized higher-education institute  is required. Immediate availability for work in at least 50% position capacity; work in the Raanana office of SAP. Must be 18 years of age or older, and in your 3rd year of academic studies or later. Experience using the Linux operating system is a must Experience with linux shell scripting is highly desired (bash, etc) Experience with Python / Go or other computer programming languages is a plus. Experience with cloud environments like Amazon, Azure, Google is a plus Familiar with containerization and cluster management technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Curious with a passion for data, a self-starter, loves challenges, strong analytical skills. Strong communication skills.  Fluent in English
