Through pre-emptive service incident and resolution activities, as well as product reviews, operational improvements, operational practices, and quality assurance this role maintains a high level of service to clients. This position uses considerable judgment and independent analysis within defined policies and practices and applies analytical thinking and deep technical expertise in achieving client outcomes, while coaching and mentoring junior team members across functions. **What you'll be doing** **Key Responsibilities:** + Solution Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop Azure-based solutions that align with business requirements. + Infrastructure Design: Create robust and efficient cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources. + Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, identity management, and compliance standards within Azure environments. + Performance Optimization: Optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. + Migration and Deployment: Lead migration efforts from on-premises systems to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption. + Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system health, diagnose issues, and provide timely resolutions. + Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, processes, and configurations. **Knowledge and Attributes:** + Solid client engagement skills coupled solid technical consulting aptitude. + Seasoned understanding of the vendor’s products business and technology positioning. Sensitivity Label: General 2 + Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, contributing to their success + Broad product knowledge integrated with technology understanding. + Seasoned knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, including microservices, serverless computing, containers, and hybrid cloud deployments. + Seasoned proficiency in cloud infrastructure technologies, such as virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and load balancing. + In-depth understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks. + Understanding cloud design patterns, microservices, serverless computing, containers, and hybrid cloud deployments. + Deep knowledge such as Microsoft Azure or other providers, understanding the specific services offered by each platform, including compute, storage, databases, networking, and security. + Understanding of cloud networking concepts, including virtual networks, subnets, routing, load balancing, and firewall configurations. + Knowledge of VPNs, VPC peering, and hybrid connectivity options between on-premises and cloud environments. + Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), encryption, data protection, secure network configurations, and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS. + Proficiency in cloud storage solutions such as, Azure Blob Storage, Amazon S3. + Knowledge of cloud monitoring and management tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor.  Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). + Knowledge of integration technologies such as API gateways, messaging queues, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes **Academic Qualifications and Certifications:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience). + Relevant certifications such as (but not limited to) - + Microsoft Certified: Azure Architect Expert.  AWS Certified: Solutions Architect Associate **Workplace type** **:** **About NTT DATA** NTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
