**Immediate hiring for my direct multinational banking client !!**
**Role: Cloud Infra Engineer – GCP/AWS**
**Worksite: NYC or Irving, TX (HYBRID -3 days onsite per week)**
**Position type: 11+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion**
**Job description:**
The Public Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be instrumental in defining architecture, implementing engineering processes & best practices to build the foundational infrastructure required for application hosting in public cloud. The ideal candidate has experience with one more cloud provides, preferably GCP or AWS, strong experience with professional Infrastructure as Code development with Terraform, designing, and creating highly available, scalable & resilient core infrastructure services. Advanced industry knowledge is key, with experience with lift & shift as well as building cloud native enterprise solutions that align with best security practices & industry standards. The candidate must have the experience with automated deployment of these solutions using CI/CD pipelines.
**Basic Qualifications:**
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience with as a cloud infrastructure engineer, with at least of 2+ years of building cloud native containerized solutions with GCP/AWS
• Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
• Strong working knowledge of Linux/UNIX, Docker & Networking
• Programming skills with Python, Java, Go or any other language
• Good Experience on Compute and Storage services in Cloud (GCP/AWS)
