Cloud Infrastructure Service Optimization Specialist

What you’ll do:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Service Optimization Expert to join our Compute Service Optimization team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient IT service delivery, managing vendor contracts, optimizing financial tracking, and overseeing key operational processes. You will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance service quality, drive process improvements, and align IT services with business objectives. You’re keen to get your hands-on to develop and build reports and functions with SAP Analytics Cloud by connecting exsting and new services and tools to steer data driven compute service optimization.

What you bring:

Role Requirements:

Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud/ PowerBI or similar tools to develop reporting and performance monitoring. Hands-on experience and knowledge in scripting / programming with python, golang ore any other scripting language Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in IT Service Delivery Management within a large-scale enterprise environment, preferably at SAP or similar organizations. Strong background in vendor and contract management, with expertise in software and hardware procurement. Solid understanding of IT service operations, SLA management, and IT governance frameworks (ITIL certification is a plus). Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and demand management for third-party resources and projects. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver executive-level reports. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.

 

Soft Skills:

·  ITIL certification or knowledge of IT service management best practices.

·  Experience in SAP enterprise solutions and IT operations.

·  Familiarity with cloud computing and IT infrastructure management.
