You Are:

UST is searching for a Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer who as a member of a team, will contribute to the design and implementation of IT automation with a focus on service delivery.

 

The opportunity:

·       Leverage development experience to improve upon monitoring and ing on applications and business processes through use of events, metrics and log analytics with a focus on self-healing.

·       Implement automated CI/CD pipelines.

·       Embed with waterfall-centric teams to drive adoption of DevOps practices and tooling.

·       Creating and utilizing tools to monitor our applications and services in the cloud including system health indicators, trend identification, and anomaly detection preferably tools provided by Microsoft itself.

·       Working with development teams to help engineer scalable, reliable, and resilient software running in the cloud.

·       Instrumental in deployment sand automation of various services on Azure as well as private clouds.

·       Acts as a gatekeeper for production changes, release, and deployments.

·       Supporting production Infrastructure environments, On-Call support, and working within an ITSM control structure

 

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Fair understanding of customer infrastructure, ability to co-relate failures

·       Monitoring knowledge in infrastructure tools

·       Networking skills

·       IP addressing and Subnetting knowledge

·       Preferably certified in Cisco's basic certification track

·       IOS upgradation knowledge and IOS patching knowledge
