We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cloud Intern. You will work among a team of industry experts within our Digital Modernization sector support the Defense Information Systems Agency in modernizing and consolidation the Defense Agencies and Field Activities Network. As a Cloud Intern, you will work closely with our team of Cloud Architects to learn and gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, including cloud architecture, cloud migration, and cloud operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with cloud migration and cloud deployment projectsLearn and utilize cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Work with the Cloud team to design and implement cloud architecturesTroubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issuesAssist with automation and scripting tasks related to cloud operationsParticipate in team meetings and provide updates on project progressContinuously learn and stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and best practicesAssist with other tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldUnderstanding of cloud computing concepts and technologiesFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPUnderstanding of networking and security conceptsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamFamiliarity with cloud migration and deployment processesExperience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShellUnderstanding of Agile development methodologies such as ScrumUS citizenship requiredAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearanceOriginal Posting Date:2025-01-17

Pay Range:Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
