Job Description:

Network Engineer Sr Advisor

We are seeking highly motivated engineers with a thirst for learning, in support of a state of the art solution constructing a Multi-Cloud Ecosystem via a centralized Cloud Management Interface (CMI). The CMI is a controlled access entry to all Cloud Service Provider (Amazon, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle) cloud services and business tools. This role will support the design, engineering and implementation of network requirements that enable CMI functionality. Positions will provide engineering support to multiple WAN connected sites, with data flows crossing various controlled interfaces, and will follow specific IT project management and engineering lifecycle processes. Engineers will be responsible for supporting their solutions throughout the IT project lifecycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, creating installation instructions and deployment plans, and providing O&M support. Project assignments will vary based on skill level, and may include engineering geographically dispersed services, integrating services into public, private and hybrid cloud environments, engineering solutions to be deployed via automated CM tools, and hardening the solutions to address security and SCAP compliance.

Responsibilities:

Administer, operate, manage and maintain network components for on-premises and cloud-based virtualized systemsDesign, develop, implement, and maintain (LAN, WAN, Wireless) network infrastructureDetermine network bandwidth needs and recommend measures to meet those requirementsDesign, recommend and implement new solutions to improve the resilience of network operationsConduct network modeling and analysis to construct a reliable, high-performance integrated networkMonitor network performance and troubleshoot problems and outagesSchedule updates and upgradesCollaborate with network architects to optimize system performanceEngage in data network fault investigationsSecure network systems with policies that define and monitor accessConfigure DNS servers and appliances

Desired Skills & Experience:

The likely salary range for this position is $134,597 - $180,716. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
