So, what’s the role all about?

 The Cloud Network Engineer will support and operate our Carrier Grade Networks. In this role, you will configure advanced routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, and support and configure SSL and IPsec VPN technologies. You will also manage and maintain firewalls, switches, and routers. Additionally, you will actively participate in Incident, Problem, Service, and Change management processes. A commitment to adhering to the company Code of Ethics and NICE policies and procedures at all times is essential for this position.

How will you make an impact?  

Ensure high customer satisfaction by effectively and professionally communicating with customers inside and outside of NICE. Provide reliable and timely support by being available for on-call support rotation, ensuring network stability and minimizing downtime. Enhance network performance and security by quickly diagnosing and resolving issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities. Maintain a strong ethical standard and consistent quality of service by always following the company Code of Ethics and inContact policies and procedures.

Have you got what it takes?

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 4+ years of proven experience in configuring OSPF, BGP, Layer7 switching, VPNs, and VoIP protocols. Advanced understanding of TCP/IP and ability to perform and analyze packet captures. In-depth VoIP experience, particularly with SIP Peering and Trunking. Proficiency with network management tools and protocols. Comprehensive understanding of telecommunication systems (DS1, DS3, OC-12) and security protocols and appliances. Excellent editing, proofreading skills, and strong time management abilities.

You will have an advantage if you also have:

Experience in proposal development and proficient in the MS Office suite PCI 1 experience
