The Role
Infrastructure Specialists at Kyndryl are project-based subject matter experts in all things infrastructure – good at providing analysis, documenting and diagramming work for hand-off, offering timely solutions, and generally “figuring it out.” This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of your clients.
As a Network Security Engineer at Kyndryl, you will address complex problems and identify potential future issues across various platforms and services. You will work with new technology and modernization projects for significant clients worldwide.
Responsibilities Includes:
You will act as NetSec Engineer on Public Cloud and related technologies for the Customer
Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization’s data, systems, and networks.
Troubleshooting security and network problems.
Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities
Evaluating the organization’s security needs and establishing best practices and standards accordingly
Designing, implementing, maintaining, overseeing, and upgrading all security measures needed to protect organizations’ data, systems, and networks.
Responding to all security breaches to the network and associated systems.
Troubleshooting all network and security issues and incidents
Routinely conduct penetration testing
Taking appropriate security measures to ensure that the organization’s infrastructure and existing data are kept safe.
Conducting testing and scans to identify any vulnerabilities in the network and system.
This is a project-based role where you’ll enjoy deep involvement throughout the lifespan of a project, as well as the chance to work closely with Architects, Technicians, and PMs. Whatever your current level of tech savvy or where you want your career to lead, you’ll find the right opportunities and a buddy to support your growth. Required Technical and Professional Experience
At least 5 years’ experience managing large scale Cloud & On-premise Network.
Good Understanding of routing protocols, Cloud networking concepts
Expertise in penetration testing, networking, system administration, and operating systems.
Ability to conduct an in-depth analysis of computer networks and identify any vulnerabilities or gaps in the system. Attention to detail is a fundamental personality trait of a network security engineer.
Good Understanding of Networking and Security basics
Good Exposure to Azure, GCP and AWS cloud platform networking & security services.
Familiar with Cloudflare.
Certifications Required: Azure Administrator Level Certification (AZ 104), Microsoft Azure Security technologies ( AZ-500 ) Or Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions (AZ-700 )
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
With bachelor's degree or master’s degree
Preferably having Multiple technology skills years of experience managing accounts
Hand on experience / understanding of automation through Ansible, Terraform is an added advantage.
Hands on experience - Terraform, Ansible
Nice to have deep knowledge in Cloudflare, Aviatrix, Azure NSG, Palo Alto , F5 , NetScaler etc
