Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS238, M5, Band 9 Specific Responsibilities:
Evaluate technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for the container platform technology domain.Lead the container platform projects from an operation perspective in partnership with Engineering and Application Development teams.Perform RHEL system administration in a scientific, operational environment.Deploy and manage machines with VMware, vCenter, Kickstart, Puppet, Foreman, and CIS-CAT.Manage and configure host-based security systems, perform cluster series, scheduling, and orchestration to provide load-balancing and auto-scaling capabilities.Patch and manage systems using Red Hat Satellite Server.Analyze systems for logic and efficiency, provide, idealize, and execute best practices and scalable solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve service interruptions, including on-call support.Provide knowledge and support in transitioning from AIX to RHEL.Provide hardware support for servers and workstations.Position Requirements: 
Active Secret clearance is required.Due to agency and contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship.This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime. Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule, if required.Telework: Candidates must reside within a commutable distance and be available to work onsite at the customer’s discretion. This includes being on-site during the transition period. Must be based around Colorado Springs, CO.12+ years of experience in the related field.
This position requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Red Hat certification is required (Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), OR, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration).
