Cloud SecOps Analyst
• Having 5-8years of experience
• Working knowledge of security operations (SecOps) Implementation
• Leverage data/data analysis to influence platform teams
• Metrics demonstrating the effectiveness of management of security in the cloud and Governance of controls
• Participate in the design, development and implementation of security initiatives to ensure the best possible measures are in place to maintain a secure operation.
• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems and databases.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security strategies, policies and procedures.
• Analyze, recommend, and implement security technologies such as firewalls, IDS (network and server), certificates and PKI.
• Knowledge of information security technologies, networks, and operating systems
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks, industry best practices, security policy creation
• Expert understanding of routing and network protocols
• Attend daily standups with the SecOps team on priority items
• Extract and analyze data related to vulnerability, End Point Detection, OS currency and many other security controls, specifically for cloud platforms
• Collaborate with security primes to drive clarity on priority, requirements and implementation approach
• Support platform teams (OpenShift, OpenStack, VMWare, Hybrid Cloud) with data driven insights meet their security targets
• Prepare management dashboards to show progress towards security KPI
• Hold cloud certification.
