Job Description We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. The Cloud Security Analyst will be responsible for evaluating the security of multiple cloud and on-premise environments, establishing best configuration practices, enabling security monitoring and incident response capabilities, and actively hunting for threats in each environment. The ideal candidate will be inquisitive and resourceful possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of cloud computing and on-premise infrastructure. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with the IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure the security of our environment. Key Responsibilities:  - Evaluate Security: Assess the security of various cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud) and on-premise environments to identify vulnerabilities and risks.  - Establish Best Practices: Develop and implement best configuration practices for securing cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.  - Security Monitoring: Implement and maintain security monitoring tools and protocols to detect and respond to security incidents in both cloud and on-premise environments.  - Incident Response: Develop and execute incident response plans for security incidents, coordinating with the broader cybersecurity team to mitigate and resolve issues.  - Active Threat Hunting: Proactively search for and identify potential threats within cloud and on-premise environments, using advanced threat detection techniques and tools.  - Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to integrate security measures into cloud-based and on-premise projects and initiatives.  - Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, monitoring activities, and incident response procedures for both cloud and on-premise environments.  - Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the organization's security posture. Skills and Requirements - IT Background or experience contributing towards resolving IT security challenges.  - Azure security technologies (Defender for Cloud, Azure Key Vault, etc.)  - Proficient in a security scripting language, e.g. PowerShell, KQL, Python, or similar.  - Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IAM, WAF, FIM, and CASB solutions and similar technologies.  - Understanding of incident response, threat hunting and security monitoring - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks. - Relevant certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Security, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security, CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional), or CCSK (Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge) are a plus. - Experience with AWS or Oracle Cloud null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
