Role Overview

We’re seeking a motivated and technically skilled Cloud Security Engineer to help design, implement, and secure scalable cloud solutions in AWS and Azure. If you're a full-stack developer with strong DevOps experience and a passion for cloud technology—and you're eager to grow in cloud security—this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop cloud automations using your full-stack development skills in Python, Java, C#, or Go.Automate cloud infrastructure deployment and management using CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and scripting languages.Build, secure, and support containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.Collaborate with security, DevOps, and cloud platform teams to integrate secure practices into infrastructure and application design.Contribute to the development of secure and scalable solutions in AWS and/or Azure.Identify and help mitigate risks in cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.

Education Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Qualifications

At least 3-5 years of experience in Full Stack Development Experience: Demonstrated expertise in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#, or Go).DevOps & Automation: Hands-on experience with CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions), infrastructure as code (Terraform), and scripting.Containerization: Experience working with container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Cloud Proficiency: Experience with AWS and/or Azure platforms.Experience in IT Security, including security architecture, threat modeling, or vulnerability management.Growth Mindset: Strong willingness and demonstrated ability to learn public cloud technologies and cloud security concepts.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Advanced degrees or certifications such as a master's degree in Cybersecurity or certifications like CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)Professional certifications such as:AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Security – SpecialtyMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Security Engineer Associate

What You’ll Achieve in the First 6 Months

Develop deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure, with a focus on platform engineering and automation best practices.Gain hands-on experience in cloud security, including identity management, secure access controls, encryption, and monitoring.Complete security and cloud training, get one professional cloud certification such as:AWS Certified Security – SpecialtyMicrosoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
