Cloud Security Engineer
Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud Security Vulnerability Management Analyst to join our Cloud Security team. This role is critical in identifying, evaluating, and remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities across our AWS infrastructure and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and manage vulnerability scanners (e.g., Anchore, Trivy) and dashboards (e.g., Grafana, Jira).Review CVEs and assess severity and impact within Aurora’s environment.Determine and coordinate remediation pathways for identified vulnerabilities.Maintain and update documentation for the Vulnerability Management (VM) program.Collaborate with VM program leads and other teams to communicate and resolve vulnerabilities.Develop and track metrics to measure the effectiveness of the VM program.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience triaging cybersecurity vulnerabilities and understanding the CVSS system.Familiarity with security scanners, SCA, and SBOM.Knowledge of vulnerability remediation techniques.Understanding of container image architecture and layers.Experience with AWS cloud security and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).Ability to read and write SQL queries.Familiarity with Golang or Python.

Preferred Skills

Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Terraform.Proficiency in Grafana and dashboard creation.Background in metrics and data analytics.Experience with Bazel is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
