Cloud Security Engineer- Cincinnati Area, KY Decatur, IL - Remote
This is a salaried exempt position.

Position Summary:
This is an advanced level position with limited supervision. Responsible to engineer, implement, and maintain effective methods to protect ADM (Archer Daniels Midland) systems and data. Use and establish procedures and standards to consistently build, deploy, support, and integrate secure solutions, such as security tools and business systems. Collaborate with IT (Information Technology), and other business functions to provide recommendations of operational and technical controls to enable the business and maintain the security posture to appropriate risk levels.

Job Responsibilities:

Execute security architectures for cloud and cloud/hybrid system.Responsible for automating security controls, data, and processes to provide improved metrics and efficient operational support.Propose and/or design technical solutions, which include creating prototypes and proofs of concept while maintaining a security mindset.Provide subject matter expertise on cloud focused information security architecture and systems engineering to other IT and business teams.Identify processes/procedures for how to handle a cloud security events, including isolation and mitigation with Threat Intelligence and Incident Response teams.Responsible for creation and maintenance of the complete and accurate technical documentation of security services and solutions.Responsible for input and feedback on security architectures.Apply adept understanding and experience with systems automation platforms and technologies.Contribute to efforts that shape the organization’s security policies and standards for use in cloud environments.Interpret security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to relevant stakeholders ranging from business leaders to engineers.Support and influence multi-disciplinary teams in implementing and operating Cyber Security controls.Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to deliver creative solutions to complex global, technology challenges and business requirements.Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.Recognize deficiencies in cloud environment and recommend and execute new security technologies and best practices into Cloud offerings.

Job Requirements:

Must have experience with virtualization (cloud or non-cloud).Expert knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, security architectures, and standards.Deep technical knowledge of Azure.Able to demonstrate clear understanding of current threats to Cloud infrastructure and/or IT infrastructures at technical and managerial levels.Able to automate/script daily tasks through Python, Bash or equivalent.Experience with web-based applications or web-services.Experience with cloud foundation services related to computing, networking, storage, content delivery, administration and security, deployment and management, and automation technologies.Experience with Terraform, Bicep, JSON, and/or other infrastructure as code technologies.Experience with PowershellExperience with Micro services programming (AWS Lambda, Docker, Function Apps, etc.)DevOps competency on building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment, build and test automation technologies like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Jenkins, etc.Functional understanding of complex enterprise environments and current technology areas like cloud and mobility.Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.Ability to understand security risks versus business benefits and form a strong recommendation to cross-functional teams.Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members in a geographic and culturally diverse workforce.Expected to Complete projects within specified deadlines.Expected to Work occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.Expected to Perform on-call duties.Potential for Occasional Travel.Solid sense of integrity and ethics.

Desired Skills:

Current holder of Security Certifications with preference on Cloud focus.Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience.Project management experience.Experience working with Github or Azure DevOps platform or equivalentExperience with Azure authentication and security services, and with Active Directory, SSO, and related technologies.Familiarity with M365 (O365) security controls and data flows.Experience with Lifecycle and licensing within cloud environments.
