**Cloud Services Architect** **Category:** Business Consulting, Strategy and Digital Transformation **Main location:** United States, Virginia, Fairfax **Position ID:** J0225-0972 **Employment Type:** Full Time **Position Description:** The CGI Government Cloud Services Program (GCS) delivers and supports a proprietary Government Advantage ERP software suite for state and local governments across the United States. Our CGI Advantage program is seeking a skilled, Cloud Support Services Architect, that will focus on quality delivery of services, support and technical solutions for the SaaS solution. The Cloud Support Services Architect will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based services. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure the successful deployment and operation of cloud services. This is an exciting full-time opportunity with a hybrid schedule, requiring two to three days in the office each week. **Your future duties and responsibilities:** • Design, architect and enforce cloud-based solutions to meet client requirements with a focus on automation to promote efficiency and scalability. • Provide expert-level support for cloud services, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues • Collaborate with clients to foster productive relationships and understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions. • Ensure the development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures and support processes. • Implement best practices for cloud operations services, security, performance, and cost management. • Conduct regular reviews and optimizations of cloud support services in collaboration with key stakeholders. • Mentor and guide team members in cloud technologies and support practices. **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture. • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Proven, strong project management experience. • Experience with cloud infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desired • Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert). • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. • Experience in a client-facing role CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $141,100 - $247,200.CGI anticipates accepting applications for this position through April 1, 2025.
