This is a fantastic opportunity to get in and grow your career within a company! **Primary Responsibilities.** The Cloud Software Engineer Intern will assist the cloud R&D team in updating, writing, and managing the source code used to develop core cloud capabilities. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to understand formal design and software documentation, identify the relevant portions to be applied to their area, and to complete the tasks assigned within the timeframe allocated. Supporting continuous integration and DevOps based development, including unit tests and documentation generation. In addition, the candidate will be expected to quickly learn new technologies and apply them in unfamiliar scenarios. The intern can expect to work with a senior staff engineer(s) on the project. **Basic Qualifications** •Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA. •Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services •U.S. Citizenship is required. **Preferred Qualifications.** •Experience with Python 3 and C++ development •Experience with Eclipse IDE, Git, MySQL and Selenium •Experience developing web applications used in business scenarios •Experience leveraging and integrating third party API’s. •Experience in Agile/Iterative process and CI/CD tooling and workflow. **Original Posting Date:** 2025-02-26 While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. **Pay Range:** Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
