We have an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) Wave 1, specifically advancing the solution for bringing the EITaaS IT Service Management offerings to SIPR. We are currently seeking a Cloud/Software Engineer for an onsite position in Chantilly, VA. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Azure Cloud/Software Engineer to join our growing team. As a SIPR Cloud/Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications and services. You will work closely with other engineers, DevOps teams, and product managers to build high-performance, secure, and reliable systems that support the needs of our business. Your role will encompass a wide range of tasks, including cloud infrastructure design, software development, and integrating cloud services to optimize application performance. + 5 + years' experience in cloud development or software engineering, including hands-on experience with cloud platforms Azure, and Azure Government. + Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Node.js, Go, etc.). + Strong experience in building and deploying cloud-native applications using modern technologies (microservices, containerization, serverless). + Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI). + Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, GCP, Azure App Services). + Familiarity with container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). + Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. + Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies. + Experience with API development (RESTful APIs, JSON, Swagger) and integration with third-party services. + Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack). + Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Graph databases) and cloud-based databases (e.g., DynamoDB, CosmosDB). + Experience with application security best practices (e.g., SIEM, secure coding, encryption, vulnerability management). + DoD 8140 compliance, CompTIA Security + or higher + Must have Active Secret Clearance Certifications: + Azure cloud platform certifications highly preferred. + DevOps, security, or database certifications are a plus.
