Job duties and responsibilities include: + Design and implement public cloud virtualization architectures utilizing AWS, GCP, and Azure. + Design and implement private cloud virtualization architectures utilizing VMware. + Design and implement hybrid private/public cloud architectures. + Automate processes to increase efficiency. + Deploy infrastructure as code. + Integrate processes and automation with ticketing systems (Service Now). + Manage on-premises hardware to support private cloud. + Troubleshoot VMware environment. + Troubleshoot AWS/Azure /GCP environment. + Monitor and optimize VMware environment. + Monitor and optimize AWS/Azure/GCP environment. + Migrate systems from physical to virtual infrastructure. + Migrate systems from private cloud to public cloud infrastructure. + Design, maintain, and support backup strategies for virtualization. + Secure VMware environment to comply with organizational cyber security requirements. + Utilize cloud-based storage options to solve organizational challenges. + Secure the private cloud environment to comply with organizational cyber security requirements. + Secure the public cloud environment to comply with organizational cyber security requirements. + Virtualize Windows and Linux server operating systems. + Communicate technical information to IS management, internal customers, and vendors. + Document systems, processes, and procedures. . **Basic Qualifications** Relevant Bachelor's Degree and 9 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Or, relevant Master's Degree and 7 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Or, relevant PhD and 4 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Applies extensive IS expertise in specific field and has full knowledge of related disciplines. Evaluates new hardware, software, systems tools and applications and makes procurement recommendations. Excellent leadership and project management skills. Skilled in analytical techniques, practices and problem solving.
