DescriptionThe incumbent of this position is responsible to materialize the maximum number of requests and reservations. \n
The job of Reservations Agent is executed satisfactorily when:\nKempinski Reservation standards are implemented and complied to.\nAll relevant data is entered and maintained in the systems in a timely and accurate manner.\nData is reviewed on an ongoing basis.\n
Key Responsibilities\nReview daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance from segment and source, system close-out when necessary and rate availability.\nEnsure clients’ satisfaction and adherence to Kempinski service standards.\nFollow internal credit policy.\nFollow up on lost business and bring information about them to the knowledge of the department superiors.\nSpot-check reservations made the previous day and check all VIP arrivals.\nTest calls LQA / IFH results > 85%.\nFollow the internal up-sell programme for Reservations department.\nPerform any other duties as assigned to them by management.\n
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseEDUCATION: \nEquivalent of high school diploma\nProfessional Certification (Bachelor, University Degree, Hotel School Diploma) would be beneficial\nEXPERIENCE:\nOpera central systems knowledge would be beneficial\nKnowledge of either Fidelio V6 or Opera PMS would be beneficial\n \nLANGUAGE:
Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment:\nGerman – Oral and written skills \nEnglish –Oral and written skills\nAdditional language – beneficial – especially French or Italian\n
COMPETENCIES:\nDetail orientated\nGood communicator\nGood listening skills\nDemonstrate energy and enthusiasm\nAbility to work under pressure\n
