Duties and Responsibilities
As Cluster Sales Manager - KAFD, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Sales department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. My key role is to drive the right business at the right price to ensure the properties achieve budgeted occupancy, rate and revenue.
The duties and responsibilities will include:
• Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities within the region, leveraging competitor analysis and data insights to construct a measured, pro-active approach to driving revenue performance.
• Work closely with the Global Luxury and Lifestyle sales team, collaborating on account planning and sales activations to help drive revenue performance into the cluster hotels.
• Identify new business opportunities with selected agencies and companies, developing relationships to create new revenue streams and support our market share.
• Travel to key markets to conduct face-to-face meetings, presentation, and events to build relationships and negotiate business on behalf of the cluster hotels.
Account Management.
• Manage and key relationships with existing KAFDaccounts.
• Within your region, act as the primary liaison for all government partners and agencies, managing and developing relationships to drive revenue and enhance visibility of your cluster.
• Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, Six Senses and Luxury and Lifestyle Road shows and trade events.
• Proactively address client needs as needed, acting is a primary liaison between the client and the hotel to ensure a seamless experience on behalf of the guest.
• Writing and implementing the sales plan, contracting, setting sales targets by segment and by client and prospect, undertaking advertising, sales, promotions and publicity initiatives, working with the revenue manager for setting rates.
• Continually focus on revenue generation and profile building for our resorts and spa and for Six Senses. Sales strategies and tactics will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and effective.
• Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
• Operate the cluster consistent with all legal, statutory and financial requirements and documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards, host management practices and budgetary controls are implemented, reviewed and maintained to ensure the successful operation of the properties.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share across the assigned territories.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Cluster Sales Manager - KAFD, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
Possess some equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Sales & Marketing, Hotel or Business Management and more than five years’ experience in a senior sales and marketing role, preferred.
**Fluent in Arabic and English.**
