Cluster Talent & Culture Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and pro-active HR professional with exceptional interpersonal skills to join our Talent & Culture team.

The role of Cluster Talent & Culture Manager will be based at, and primarily support Rosewood Kauri Cliffs while working in collaboration with the Talent & Culture team to drive and deliver successful HR solutions across all three properties in New Zealand including; Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, Rosewood Cape Kidnappers and Rosewood Matakauri.

About the Opportunity: 

This is a generalist position reporting to the Cluster Director of Talent & Culture, covering the whole spectrum of HR – no two days will be the same!  

The purpose of the role is to harness positive, productive and engaged teams.   

Talent Acquisition: be instrumental in driving the seasonal recruitment campaign to achieve budgeted FTE targets across all 3 properties. 

Onboarding Associates: assist with seamless onboarding of permanent and seasonal employees, including welcoming, supporting and settling international team members into the country and their roles. Assist with the co-ordination of staff housing. 

Learning & Development: ensure consistency of feedback, 90-day reviews and establish a career conversation cadence at Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, work closely with HODs to monitor training needs and present recommendation to Management, and exercise sound and fair judgement when providing advice to Managers in matters of performance or conduct management.

Employee Relations: be a trusted advisor for managers and associates – providing advice and support on employee relation matters and conflict resolution.

Associate Experience: foster strong relationships with associates and management, and be a champion for our values, vision, EVP, standards and culture. 


About you :  

You will have an aptitude for detail, an understanding of procedures and a desire to develop your HR knowledge, skills and expertise. This is an important position and you will need to have strong focus on excellence, plenty of enthusiasm and a flexible approach. Additionally, you will have:  

substantial experience in a HR generalist role, including recruitment and Employee Relations a relevant HR (or similar) tertiary qualification  excellent communication skillsexceptional organisation skills  confidence with general IT  digitally creative – ideally confident using canva a high degree of professionalism and honesty  a strong practical understanding of NZ employment law and work visas  the ability to uphold confidentiality and sensitive information, both on and off duty  self-motivated and results oriented  you will be resilient, with a strong work ethic and will take pride in the growth and development of our teams.
