What you'll do:

The Licensed Practical Nurse/Certified Medical Assistant renders care within their scope of practice, to patients in the clinic setting (by rooming patients, providing education, and assisting with procedures) and coordinates the nursing office function (managing patient schedule/flow, returning patient phone calls, and facilitating patient care where needed) as advised by the physicians and under the direction of the nursing supervisor.

What you'll have:

LPN:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Current LPN licensure in the State of Minnesota Up to date AED/CPR training 1 year of clinical or equivalent experience preferred

CMA:

Graduate of a medical assistant program Current CMA certificate  Up to date AED/CPR training  1 year of clinical or equivalent experience preferred

Additional Qualifications:

Positive attitude! Professional demeanor – need to be calm, rational. Self-motivator. Commitment to continued learning. Ability to work well with other team members including nurses and providers.  Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task.  Good communication, documentation and time management skills.  Nursing assessment skills Management of electronic medical records.  Medical terminology, relevant equipment, policies, procedures to promote effective, safe patient care.
