May perform administrative duties as required to include coding, billing and front-office functions.

Job DescriptionQUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate or Equivalent Must be a “Certified” Medical Assistant (CMA) – a graduate of a Medical Assistant program that awards certification and/or credentials by examination. Southeast Health recognizes and accepts the following credentials for CMA applicants:
RMA – Registered Medical AssistantAMT – American Medical TechnologistCMA – Certified Medical AssistantAAMA – American Association of Medical AssistantsCCMA – Clinical Medical AssistantNHA – National Healthcareer AssociationNCMA – National Certified Medical AssistantNCCT – National Center for Competency TestingNRCMA – Nationally Certified Medical AssistantSuccessful completion of Southeast Health pharmacology exam BCLS certification (current) Medical office experience preferred
