Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our team, focusing on the development and optimization of Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) programs for aerospace cargo systems. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to ensure that all parts meet stringent engineering and quality standards, contributing to the success of high-precision aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development: Create and refine CMM programs and inspection techniques in alignment with engineering drawings and specifications, utilizing both CMM and handheld metrology tools.Inspection Strategy: Develop comprehensive inspection strategies for aerospace components to ensure compliance with precise engineering requirements.Program Management: Manage the completion of CMM programming projects, particularly for new product introductions, ensuring timely and accurate execution.Off-Line Programming: Utilize Siemens NX and/or CMM Manager to create and modify off-line CMM programs, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of inspection processes.Documentation & Instruction: Generate detailed part/program setup instructions and accompanying documentation to guide inspection personnel in the proper loading and execution of automated inspection programs.Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to Operations and Inspection teams, assisting with the sustainment of existing programs and troubleshooting any programming errors to ensure smooth operation.Proofing & Quality Assurance: Conduct proofing of CMM programs to verify accuracy and resolve any discrepancies, ensuring all programs meet the highest standards of quality.

Work Environment:
This role is primarily onsite, as it involves hands-on work with production and maintenance teams that are essential to the development and refinement of our aerospace products.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Siemens NX and/or CMM Manager for CMM programming.Strong understanding of metrology and experience with handheld metrology tools.Proven ability to develop and manage inspection strategies for high-precision aerospace components.Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.US Citizen due to ITAR restrictions
