CMM Programmer

Location: Saint Louis, MO

The St. Louis office is currently seeking a CMM Programmer who will be responsible for testing,

analyzing and inspecting equipment for one of the global medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

·   Program CMM equipment for new and routine parts using PC-DMIS CAD++ Software.

·   Manage and support technical projects, ensuring proper documentation according to cGMP’s and current procedures.

·   Lead and execute complex First Article Inspections, including graphical representations of measurement results.

·   Develop and generate clear and concise inspection reports.

·   Participate in continuous improvements for QC measurement systems and perform assessments of validity.

·  Execute IQ/OQ/PQ of new equipment installation and decommission QC measurement systems as needed.

·  Support calibration and preventative efforts to maintain QC equipment.

·  Analyze inspection data to identify trends and potential issues.

Top Skills Required:

·  Expert in programming CMM in PC-DMIS CAD++ (Hexagon Global S 7.10.7 A+/T+ Scan+ model).

·   GD&T expert (Non-negotiable).

·  Proficiency with measuring instruments and operating machines like CMM.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·  Expert ability to use precision mechanical measuring instruments, coordinate measuring machines, optical comparators, microscopes, measure scopes, meters, and other electrical test equipment.

·   Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

·  Strong interpersonal skills and solid analytical approach to decision-making and problem-solving.

·  Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, etc.).

·  Advanced knowledge of relevant Domestic and International Regulations and Industry Standards (ISO, QSR, UL, CSA, VDE, etc.).

· Ability to work with limited supervision and manage projects and people indirectly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
