Purpose of the Position:
The CMMS Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure accurate and effective management of maintenance activities, equipment data, and inventory. This role supports the maintenance team in utilizing the CMMS for planning, scheduling, and reporting to maximize operations efficiency.
Key Tasks:
CMMS System Management, process development, and continuous improvement. Administer the CMMS platform, ensuring accurate configuration, implementation, and operation. Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access for maintenance and operational staff. Data Management and Reporting, system support and training. Ensure accurate input and updates of maintenance data, including work orders, asset records, and parts inventory. Develop and generate custom reports to analyze maintenance trends, performance, and KPIs. Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and correcting discrepancies. Provide ongoing CMMS user support and troubleshooting for the maintenance team. Train employees on CMMS usage, including work order processes, reporting, and equipment history tracking. Serve as the primary contact for CMMS-related system updates and issues. Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and implement CMMS process improvements. Assist in integrating the CMMS with other plant systems, ensuring seamless data flow. Support predictive and preventive maintenance strategies by optimizing CMMS functionalities. Monitor inventory control processes and ensure accurate documentation of spare parts usage. Assist in coordinating inventory counts and managing maintenance parts re-order thresholds. Maintenance asset tool management.
Work Hours:
Standard Hours (Monday – Friday core business hours) Flexible hours required to support start up efforts. Including weekend/evenings/holiday operations.
Education & Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Maintenance, Engineering, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience administering CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix, eMaint) in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong planning, organizational, and time management abilities. Excellent communication and people skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and equipment schematics. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement. Strong knowledge of CMMS functionality, setup, and reporting. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, and Word). Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to train and support users with varying levels of technical proficiency. Meticulous with strong organizational and data management skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Experience with maintenance planning, data reporting, and inventory management preferred.

The range for this position is $69,494.00 - $95,555.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
