Job Description

 Medical Research Center is a dedicated clinical research site based in San Juan that organizes, implements and executes clinical trials in Puerto Rico. We work with leading pharmaceutical companies to contribute to the well-being of Puerto Ricans through medical advances. CMRC is seeking a full-time Clinical Research Patient Recruiter to build our patient database and recruit potential participants into clinical trials. 

 

Job Summary:

 

The Clinical Trial Patient Engagement  is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing strategies to engage, recruit, and retain patients for clinical trials. This role involves working closely with research teams, healthcare providers, and communities to identify and educate potential participants about clinical trials. The specialist will develop marketing campaigns, manage patient databases, and ensure that recruitment efforts meet study enrollment targets while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with research teams to design and execute patient recruitment strategies tailored to specific clinical trials. Develop and manage patient recruitment campaigns across various channels (e.g., online, community outreach, partnerships with healthcare providers) Identify and engage potential patients for clinical trials Maintain and update a database of potential and enrolled patients Track and report on patient recruitment metrics, ensuring enrollment targets are met Work closely with clinical trial coordinators and investigators to understand study requirements and patient eligibility criteria Identify and engage potential patients for clinical trials, building relationships with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to drive enrollment. Educate patients and their families about the benefits, risks, and expectations of participating in clinical trials, ensuring transparency and trust. Maintain and update a database of potential and enrolled patients, tracking patient interactions and recruitment progress. Develop marketing materials and presentations to support recruitment efforts Attend relevant conferences, and community events to promote clinical trials. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical guidelines related to patient recruitment and enrollment

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Nursing Minimum of 5 years of experience in patient recruitment, clinical research, or a related medical field. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse groups. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using recruitment software and databases. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and ethical considerations in clinical research Ability to travel as needed for recruitment activities and event
