Description:

We are seeking an Engineering Technician for our Orlando, FL location. Responsibilities include monitoring activities on construction sites and performing testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt pavement materials.

- Monitor activities on construction sites.

- Perform testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt pavement materials.

- Work in various environmental conditions, including wet and/or humid environments, extreme cold and/or heat, dusty and noisy work environments.

- Perform fieldwork involving long-term standing and frequent walking, including common hazards at construction and project sites.

- Carry, lift, and push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

- Walk over rough and uneven terrain and stand up to 10 hours a day on occasion.

- Utilize senses such as seeing, smelling, hearing, talking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, twisting, crouching, crawling, reaching, grasping, sitting, standing, and walking.

- Work weekends, overtime, and/or overnight as required.

- Additional physical duties as necessary.
