Position Purpose
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Labor & Delivery Unit at Holy Cross Health, you’ll play an essential role in providing quality care and emotional support to patients and families during one of life’s most meaningful moments. Working closely with nursing staff, you’ll assist with patient care, monitor needs, and contribute to a smooth and supportive birthing experience.
What You Will Do
Support the Labor & Delivery team in providing patient-centered careAssist nurses in collecting data and performing basic nursing functions within CNA scopeMaintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in patient conditionPerform unit support tasks including restocking, room readiness, and equipment checksRespond to patient and family needs with empathy and professionalismFunction in both the Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator roles as neededMinimum Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensed by the Maryland Board of NursingHigh school diploma or GEDBLS certification (AHA required)Basic computer and technology skills (email, EMR, wireless devices)Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skillsPosition Highlights

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
