Overview

CVT is an 18-bed unit that cares for intermediate and intensive care level patients. The CVT nursing assistant provides direct and indirect patient care as directed by the licensed registered nurse to assist in maintaining patient safety, promoting positive patient outcomes, and providing a positive patient experience. 

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care while working under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse, utilizing skills as outlined in the scope of practice by the Department of Human Services Division of Facility Services. Providing patient care that meets FirstHealth's established standards of practice. 

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Current Nursing Assistant Level I certification required. Current AHA BCLS certification required.
