Function:The primary purpose of the CNA Instructor is to conduct training for individuals who are pursuing certification for a career as a nursing assistant (nurse aide). The CNA Instructor will provide training in accordance with the state guidelines under the leadership of the community’s Director of Nursing.
Requirements: Must have a valid LPN/LVN/RN license within the state of employment. Must have at least two years of nursing experience. At least one year of which must be within the provision of long term care facility services. Must have completed a course in teaching adults, have experience in teaching adults, or supervising nurse aides.
