We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in delivering exceptional internal medicine services. In this role, you will work closely with our internal medicine providers and nurses to support patient care and ensure a seamless experience for our patients.-Daytime hours with a Monday - Friday schedule.

Summary
Assists nursing personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Performs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).Job Description
Assist with clinical duties as delegated within roles and responsibilities, personalized training and competency, and needs of specific ambulatory setting. Assists with taking vital signs. Maintains stock of medical supplies needed for registered nurse or physician. Complies with all patient duties assigned. The Nursing Assistant serves as caregiver to the patient during the scheduled work period. Administer delegated tasks and treatments. Record vital statistics and other basic health information. Provide assistance with basic health care needs including rooming the patients, daily living activities; emotional and spiritual needs. Will collect non-invasive biological specimens from patients as needed. Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare. Prepare patient treatment areas for use; prepare and clean medical equipment; dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy. Clean patient areas or treatment rooms.Qualifications
Must have good human relations and communication skills. Must be able to follow procedures and instructions given by the licensed nurse. Must be able to acquire a basic knowledge of patient care principles, medical terminology and equipment within the assigned service area.
Certification and registration with the Minnesota Board of Nursing Assistant Registry is preferred. Certification is required if designated by law (i.e. Home Care).
