Aspirus Weston Clinic is looking for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team!
HOURS: Full time or 1.0 FTE; Day Shift; 80 hours Bi-weekly; Day Shift
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the delivery of outpatient clinic health careAnswer phones, returning phone calls, crisis triagePaperwork processing for schools, human services, etc.Prior authorizations of medicationsRooming patientsMaintaining clinical records and documentationExperience/Qualification/Licensure:
· Knowledge of patient care standards and general office practices typically acquired through completion of a High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with completion of a nursing assistant course.
· Knowledge of patient care standards and practices typically acquired through graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) program or five years of equivalent MA experience.
· Two years of experience as a Nursing Assistant in outpatient services is beneficial.
· RMA or CMA certification must be obtained within six months from the hiring date.
· Current CPR/BLS certification (REQUIRED) or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
