Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA/PSS/DSP (Certified Nursing Assistant/Personal Support Specialist/Direct Support Professional) to join our healthcare team on a per diem basis in York, United States. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and groomingMonitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulseProvide basic patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staffAssist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all timesMaintain a clean and organized patient environmentCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team membersObserve and report changes in patient condition to appropriate medical staffAdhere to all safety protocols and HIPAA regulationsParticipate in patient care planning and documentation as requiredRespond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCurrent CNA certification in good standingCPR and First Aid certificationStrong knowledge of basic patient care skills and medical terminologyProficiency in using common medical equipmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical stamina to perform duties that may involve lifting, transferring, and positioning patientsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededPrevious experience in healthcare or caregiving preferredUnderstanding of patient rights and HIPAA regulationsKnowledge of safety protocols in healthcare settingsCompassionate and patient-centered approach to careDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
