Preference will be given to individuals with CNA Certification. KNOWLEDGE: + Knowledge of client protocols and interventions of therapy. + Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and practice partner. + Knowledge of procedures of specialized sensory programs to include olfactory, vestibular motion, tactile implements, and auditory interventions. + Knowledge of mental illnesses and disabilities. + Knowledge of program adaptations. + Knowledge of recreation and social programming. + Knowledge of motivational techniques. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate's Degree (typically in Healthcare) Experience: No prior experience required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CNA Certification obtained within twelve (12) months of hire OR Education & Experience Substitution: 1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Human Services) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CNA Certification obtained within twelve (12) months of hire Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: + Shifts are 12 hours/day, 36 hours/week with every other weekend off and rotating holidays. + Day shifts (6 am - 6 pm) and NOC shifts (6 pm - 6 am) available + Lift medical/patient equipment of varying sizes and weights up to about 50 lbs. + Work evenings, nights, and /or weekends as scheduled.
