Unit Helpers are paid an hourly rate of 17.50, same rate you make as a student in the class! The program is hosted in Geneva, NY however, once you become certified you can be hired to work at all one of our long-term care facilities - we have a location in Geneva, Waterloo and Penn Yan NY. All locations are offering part-time and full-time employment! Preferred: High school degree or GED/ Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experience POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the licensed nursing personnel, performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the certification. SKILLS: Minimum: Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
